12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief was a 6-hour star-studded benefit concert that was held at Madison Square Garden in 2012. It was raised over $30 million for The Robin Hood Relief Fund and was simulcast live on 39 U.S. television stations including HBO, AMC, Showtime and over 20 international networks as well as 25 streaming sites including YouTube, Yahoo! and Vevo.
A-list performers included The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder, Kanye West and Paul McCartney. Celebrity hosts included Billy Crystal, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Fallon and Chris Rock
