Darren Pfeffer is an accomplished executive leader, strategist and transformation expert with a successful track record in high-profile live entertainment and business oversight. He brings extensive experience in P&L management, employee engagement, customer-first focus, brand marketing and creation of revenue-generating, innovative ideas.
At Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., Pfeffer served as Senior Advisor on special projects and strategic initiatives. This follows his time as Executive Vice President, MSG Live, when Darren oversaw the MSG Live P&L, operational matters and programming at the company’s venues, including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre, the Chicago Theatre, the Theater at Madison Square Garden and The Forum in Los Angeles.
Prior to this, Pfeffer held leadership roles of increasing responsibility with iHeartMedia/Clear Channel Radio starting as an intern at Z100 NY in 1996, eventually becoming Senior Vice President, Music & Entertainment Marketing, iHeartMedia. He was responsible for more than 150 annual events across the iHeartMedia platform, including the overall event strategy, production and P&L management, as well as ideating and executing local and national sponsorship elements and working with radio, television, and digital broadcast partners on their coverage.
Pfeffer’s extensive Board experience includes serving on the Boards of Directors of the Boston Calling Music Festival, Musicians on Call and the TAO Group. He was named to the Billboard Power List in 2020 and received a NY Emmy Award for his role as Executive Producer of “Road to MSG: Z100’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden” in 2010. Darren was on the Planning Committee for the Robin Hood Foundation’s benefit 12-12-12 – The Concert for Sandy Relief at MSG, which raised more than $55 million for disaster relief.
